Lately surprises of box office did happen, Where the Wild Things Are becomes a hit in the North American box office. People's tastes now become more unpredictable. The quality of movies evidently do remain, important! Not the amount of choices of movies that we can select from overall, I guess.

Limited Time: The Simpsons Contest: Create another yellow character
Hit animated comedy The Simpsons is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a competition to create a new character.
The character has to be a human being.
The premises of the story: Marge and Homer are heading to a wedding, Homer is late, because he went to buy a lotto ticket. There, he met a new character, the new face, the character, who you the audience (the winner) will create!

In a few days, The Simpsons will show their annual Halloween XX on Oct 18. Usually, they show their Halloween scaries after the Halloween! Spoiler: If you do not want to see what will be coming up, do not see the preview from official Fox site. Let me know after you view the show if you think they still have any legs left over or tricks?!

The spinoff from Family Guy, The Cleveland Show will be continued until at least 2011. The network Wednesday gave a back nine order to "Cleveland's" second season, which is already under way (due to the long lead time necessary for animated series).

Report: Michael Jackson's album to be available on itunes

According to the Wired.com, Michael Jackson's This Is It will be available at the itunes when they last spoke to Sony spoke-person. The details of course are still complex and yet confirmed, it sounds like.

AFI to honour Mike Nichols
AFI chose to bestow its honor 38th Lifetime Achievement to: Mike Nichols. The tribute will be presented in next summer.
He was known for Barefoot in the Park," "The Odd Couple," "Plaza Suite" and "The Prisoner of Second Avenue" and helmed his first feature in 1966 with "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" He won a directing Oscar for his next film, "The Graduate," and went on to direct "Catch-22," "Carnal Knowledge," "The Fortune," "Silkwood," "Working Girl," "Primary Colors," "Charlie Wilson's War" and "Postcards from the Edge."
