Perez Hilton wanna to take your place, Simon!

The competition now for taking over the American Idol is getting fierce! Hmmm, a few contenders such as: (I think)Beyonce, Victoria Beckham, Elton John, even Diddy and now pretty far fetched Perez Hilton. Well, they picked Ellen who knows what American Idol will pick for a judge next! Lindsay Lohan?!!!

Brief: Does Movies Need to have a message?

Avatar photo
I am aware that this following post will make some readers too happy. BBC posted this video about Hollywood on being anti-capitalist! Movies are meant to be an escape for some, but some people would like to make more of a message to the movie then it should be. Here goes our entertainment enjoyment down the drain! Unless you would like your movie mean something more to you, please do not wreak someone else's experience!

TCM iPhone App Brings Movie Classics to Your Pocket

Personally I love TCM movie classics and I hope this will be the first step after they put iPhone apps for movie lovers like me.  I have a Blackberry though.  Last fall, the Toronto International Film Festival placed a Blackberry app for film lovers.  You can see time, movie listings, and the outline of the movie.
In this case of TCM, you can see: movie clips and trailers, photos and access to the TCM schedule.

Pants on the Ground a viral Hit!

If you do not know what this song is about already, this song is from the American Idol auditions round on Atlanta. A 63 year old fella named Larry Platt just went on rapping. I like that catchy tune. Sorry, but the American Idol said their age limit is 28 years old, and sigh!

Conan says no 2 later nite!

If I were Conan, I would say no too!  When NBC announced that Leno failed to show any good ratings during prime time, and wanting to move him back to late night to the Conan slot, Conan was not thrilled!  Conan does hope this slot dispute will be resolved nicely soon!
Now to add the insult, Letterman from CBS jokes  (according to transcript) about the move at NBC!

Spiderman loses its main star

Bad news: Spiderman series are losing Tobey Maguire, Spiderman and the director, Sam Raimi for Spider-Man 4.  What a bummer!  Apparently, Spiderman is in the hands of Columbia Pictures now, even though the spider belongs to Disney/Marvel.

TV Guide Network to have 3D on Golden Globes

TV Guide Network and their online site will have 3D broadcast live on the red carpet during the Golden Globes.  Honestly, is there a way without the 3D glasses?  I see that the past week, the CES show featured a great deal of 3D televisions and or technology in the showcase.

To Canadians, you are better off tuning on your TV set!

450th Episode of the Simpson

The Simpsons will be celebrating their 450 episode on January 10, 2010 titled: Once Upon a Time in Springfield.  They certainly came a long way for 20 years.  Or well, from being a skinny little cartoon to a longest running prime time cartoon.  Even the Catholic church talks about them.  I for one love television because of them, they are worth my half an hour.  Television remain worth watching because of writers behind those not so popular ideas at times show it at the show.   Congrads, The Simpsons!
