Tron Legacy

Tron Legacy is a sequel to the Tron.  If you do not know about Tron, do not fret, there is a little bit of synopsis about the original: A hacker is literally abducted into the world of a computer and forced to participate in gladiatorial games where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program.  About Tron Legacy: Inside the ENCOM computer system, a program called CLU, created by Kevin Flynn during the original fight against the Master Control Program, has been causing chaos and destruction across the grid. Sean Flynn, son of former ENCOM CEO Kevin Flynn, is in search of his missing father.  If you have not watch the Tron movie yet, you should prior to the release of Tron Legacy in Dec 2010 (pending I guess).

Avatar times three

Avatar will be releasing their DVD/Blu-Ray for the 1st time on Earth Day.  The 2nd time sometime in November 2010 for the bonus extras!  The 3D version of the Avatar will not be released til later time.  That would be a whole lot of DVD/Blu-Ray and it is not very environmentally friendly way to do a movie release!  What a fail for a movie claims to be an environmental crusader!

Baum's Oz could reborn again?

I like hearing movie industry news. I am not certain we can compare Harry Potter to the Wizard of Oz? Wizard of Oz is over a century old literature and Harry Potter almost near a decade for its 1st book. Warner Brothers is very interested in the Oz's franchise and since the success of young people's literature themed adapted to movies. Technology is a great resource for getting us to know and read more about the Oz's books.
Facts about the OZ's book series before considering the movie(s)
1. The Wizard of OZ is a musical and it is still under copyright.(MGM)
note: DVD release on 1998 was under WarnerBros.
Don't ask me how it becomes WarnerBros DVD???
2. 14 Oz books written by Baum
3. There is a whole lot Oz's to the series, but these are by different writers according to Wikipedia. The books (series) by whom is like a family tree a little!
4. Would today's readers actually read the OZ's series?

Are you Iron Man2 Ready?

Iron Man 2 will be coming out on May 7 on IMAX 3D and its the most anticipated movie for folks that would like to watch the continuation of the adventures of Iron Man!  Is there really a storyline to that since Avatar lost its Oscar?  Storylines sells well to the Oscars academy!  Though technology sells to the geeks and the box office, :-(

Car ads leads to controversy on Lennon

Since there are customer products, there are always going to be celebrities to endorse those products.  Recently, one of those products would be: a car.  Citroen, a French car manufacture for over 90 years, had some advertisements broadcaster in Britain on February.  You can see it below.  One of these would be: John Lennon and the other one: Marilyn Monroe.  Lennon's ads generated issues for some people.  Some thought Ono sold out to the businesses.  Lennon always had been in the limelight since his death, credit to Ono.  It would not be the first time such accusations are being point to Ono.

Ever ending Star Trek

Star Trek does not end, does it?  Or do we keep trying to make an alternate ending for the sake for entertainment!  Star Trek lives!

How to train your Dragon trailer

The film is set in a mythical world of Vikings and dragons. The story centers around a viking teenager named Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), who lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. The teen’s smarts and offbeat sense of humor is disliked by his tribe and its chief, Hiccup’s father, Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler). However, when Hiccup is included in Dragon Training with the other viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. After he entangles a dragon with a bolas-shooting cannon, Hiccup releases and ends up befriending the dragon, who he dubs with the name, Toothless. This relationship flips his world upside down as he strives to convince his tribe that they don't need to be dragon-slayers.
What an odd title, but you cannot judge the title by its title I guess!
